Batavia Studios was started and
founded by Urmi Batavia. She started
the business in 2002 out of her house, teaching
piano and violin. The students grew
to where Urmi and her husband decided that the
business needed to be moved to an actual studio.
We opened the studio in 2004 in this currently
location. Urmi also got her degree in
Respiratory Therapy, but she always found music
to be her passion and teaching the most
rewarding
.
Students at
Batavia Studios have great oppertunities to play
outside of the studio . We
participate in national competitions and hold
two recitals per year. We have
become the biggest studio in the local area.
Our specialty is making
music learning fun for everyone. We
teach Adults and Kids alike. We all
have a passion for music and each child is
treated individually to meet his/her goals.
